Tara's story is one of resilience, strength, and the unwavering love of a mother.  Becoming a parent at the tender age of 16, Tara faced a challenge most couldn't fathom.  The fairy tale ending wasn't in her cards, but that didn't stop her from building a beautiful life for her and her five children.  She became a single mother, shouldering the immense responsibility of raising her children alone, all while battling the everyday stressors of life, the rollercoaster of parenting, and her own mental health.

Life hadn't been easy on Tara.  Marked by a difficult childhood and limited family support, she knew hardship firsthand.  With no partner to lean on, she had to dig deep, summoning an inner strength she didn't even know she possessed.  Through sheer determination, Tara not only survived but thrived.  She built a career in the medical field, earning not one but two degrees, a testament to her unwavering dedication and work ethic.

Today, Most of her children have grown and moved on to start their own journey in the crazy thing we call life, with two of her boys , aged 15 and 10, still at home, and with three hairless cats adding their unique brand of chaos to her world, Tara is a beacon of hope for others.  Having walked a mile in their shoes, she now dedicates her free time to supporting single parents who are facing the same struggles she once did. Tara's story reminds us that even amidst hardship, the human spirit can overcome incredible odds, emerging stronger and ready to light the way for others.
